Artificial intelligence, and all its forms, are now used by leading technology companies to improve and streamline its services. Google is one of the most active companies in the sector and, after starting to use this technology in imaging, in Play Music and other apps, has announced the formation of a working group specialized in the study of AI tied Google Cloud.
To formalize the news was Diane Greene, Vice President of Google Cloud Business, during an event held at their headquarters in San Francisco. The group, derived from the Alphabet Section, will be headed by Fei-Fei Li, artificial intelligence expert and professor at Stanford University, and Jia Li researcher.
Greene commented thus:
What convinced the two scholars to join the team and believe in the potential of Google Cloud, was the ability to leverage the same extent as machine learning (machine learning) that artificial intelligence (AI) to one common purpose.
The effects from the work of the new working group will be visible in the future and will result in an improvement of the cloud computing platform from Google.
