Having one of the best smartwatch currently on the market do not use at all if its compatibility was limited to smartphones of its brand. This feature, however, was not applied to the application ARTIK Cloud or at least, not until now.
For the uninitiated, the application ARTIK Cloud and its companion app for Samsung S2 Gear allows users to manage all home automation equipment connected to the SmartThing hub , such as Philips Hue lights and in general all compatible devices IoT.
Application support with non-Samsung smartphone will allow the ARTIK Cloud service to expand into much faster. Moreover, whereas the home automation and IoT are gaining an increasingly important role, thanks to this application for Gear S2 Samsung manages to close the loop with their ecosystem.
