Apple has officially announced the dates of the WWDC 2017, the traditional event dedicated to software developers and to the universe. And this year there is a return to a historical location: the one of San Jose, at the McEnery Convention Center. A unique opportunity for all fans of the bitten apple, considered a few years ago Apple take advantage of its Worldwide Developers Conference to launch previews of iOS and MacOS.
The year 2017, the twenty-eighth of Apple's history, will be held June 5 to 9, at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, the location. As every year, Apple is ready to welcome developers from around the world, in particular to present the news, and the most interesting applications for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV and, of course, Mac.
Apple chose the McEnery Convention Center as a hub for an event that is truly extended size: around the structure, in fact, there are several hotels and restaurants, entertainment centers and entertainment venues. In addition, during the five days dedicated to the WWDC, the Cupertino group would be organizing with some local businesses to offer participants the unusual and special experiences. The choice of San Jose, also seems to be motivated also by a geographical convenience: it is, in fact, just a few minutes away from the new campus in Cupertino.
As already mentioned, the center of Apple's attention will be certainly the news about iOS and MacOS, with the likely introduction of IOS 11 and the Sierra successor. But it is not all, since the group also plans to launch the important updates for Sirikit, HomeKit, HealthKit and CarPlay, as well as the distribution of new APIs for developers. Of course, even room for investigations, seminars and workshops throughout the course of the week, with a chance to interact with over 1,000 Apple engineers.
The opening keynote, as well as some of the events of the following days, will be streamed on the Apple official website. The opening of the ticket distribution, however, will take place in the spring.
