Surprisingly, Sony announced on February 15, 2017 that it plans to discontinue its cloud gaming PlayStation Now service on many devices, including the Samsung televisions. The company explained on its official PlayStation blog that has taken this decision to focus on improving the game on PlayStation 4 (PS4, PS4 Pro, and PS4 Slim) and Windows PC.
The cloud gaming PlayStation Now service will stop working on all Samsung TVs from 15 August 2017. In addition, the service will be terminated on all of Sony smart TVs (2013, 2014, 2015) and Blu-ray players. Sony abandons even support for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and PlayStation TV.
