In the past few hours there was some interesting news about Windows Cloud 10, the version (not yet announced) of Windows 10 that, according to rumors, is characterized by the only compatibility with apps UWP and is distributed free of charge. As we saw from the previous hands-on video of the build leaked a few days ago, Windows 10 Cloud should be upgradeable to a full version, and today MSPU explains in detail the procedure.
In short, simply a digital purchase in the Windows Store; You will be offered the opportunity to upgrade from Windows 10 Cloud when you try to perform an unsupported operation - for example, install a Win32 application.
Alternatively, some have already explored the streets of the "dark side." A user has confirmed on Twitter that managed to bypass the Windows 10 Cloud controls (apparently there are two "layers") and run Win32 apps like Google Chrome and Desktop App Converter. In the second tweet it is also demonstrated briefly part of the hack, from PowerShell to start the installer from iTunes.
Of course, at present this demonstration can mean everything and nothing. Since this is a build "leaked" under development, it is quite plausible that there are easily circumvented security holes.
