Apple would be closer to an iCloud handled in a completely independent, with the native server. The rumor emerged a few weeks ago, when there was talk of Apple's desire to manage in-house the large cloud of user content. And today new details come about, in particular relating to a partnership with a Chinese reality.
For the large amount of content iCloud, Apple is committed to using the Amazon Web Service, which recently would have added the Google Cloud Platform, at least according to the latest rumors. Yet Apple feel the desire to independently manage large servers for iCloud, also given the continued expansion of its data center, used today for iTunes content, Apple Music and more. According to a report from Asia, and when not confirmed by the parties of California, the apple may have teamed up with a Chinese manufacturer to create a completely iCloud in-house.
The company in question would Inspur, a Chinese reality known for the sale and supply of servers. It is a very important player, since, as Cult of Mac points out, Inspur would hold more than 60% of the Chinese market for Internet service providers, providing them with cutting-edge servers. The head itself also explains how the company in the past has close cooperation Microsoft, LG Electronics, Ericsson, Intel and IBM. Last year, the company has opened offices in California, just to manage partnerships and relationships with big Silicon Valley.
It is not known when the dreaded Apple project will be completed, although it may take a few years. Meanwhile, the company is expanding and modernizing its data centers in Ireland, Denmark and the United States. And it seems that others are ready to be created from scratch, especially in Asia, a market it seems very greedy for all Western technology companies.
