Qundis updates its Smart Metering platform QUNDIS (Q SMP), releasing new features, developed on the basis of customer feedback in recent months.
The Smart Metering platform Qundis represents a complete solution based on the "cloud" system to collect energy consumption data, which is transferred via the mobile phone network. Also, through the web portal QUNDIS Q SMP, all the collected data can be managed in any place and at any time.
Today Qundis provides new features to simplify the operation of Q SMP. In fact, administrators utilizing Q SMP platform now have the ability to add more users to your accounts that can access the information and eventually to eliminate them, if they wish. Once inserted, the new users will have all the rights necessary for the configuration of the transmission profiles and administration of gateways. This will give you greater flexibility in terms of installation of a remote reading networks AMR (Automatic Meter Reading).
The configuration will be even easier. Previously, to set up a new gateway platform via the Q SMP, the user had to manually connect the device to a specific network node (Q node 5 or WTT). Today, thanks to the update just introduced, this step is no longer required and you simply select the number of AMR network: Q platform SMP will automatically assign the gateway network node with the best reception signal. This might at first seem only a small improvement, but in fact considerably simplifies the procedures for use of the system.
Finally, with the new version 1.8 of the Q SMP software, the transfer profile offers more selection options, so users can more effectively tailor the data transfer according to your needs. Among the various options, you can choose for example the default designations of the scan data files. When you configure data transmission on an SSH-FTP server, you can now clear the compression of the measurement data in a ZIP file and the password for the ZIP file is no longer mandatory.
