Microsoft should hold the spring event in the early days of May; Focus on Windows 10 Cloud and new Surface line devices.
Microsoft is about to announce the much-anticipated spring event where it could present many new hardware and software. According to ZDNET, in this particular event, emphasis may be given to the launch of Windows 10 Cloud and to the presentation of new Surface line devices. The codename for this appointment would be "Bespin" and according to some rumors it should be held at the beginning of May.
Choosing the name "Bespin" was not done by chance. Those who are passionate about Star Wars will remember that "Bespin" is also the name of the planet where Cloud City is, therefore, a clear reference to the cloud and therefore probably to Windows 10 Cloud. Remember that it is a particular version of the Windows 10 operating system. It has little or nothing to do with the cloud because it's just a "lightened" version of Windows 10 that can only run universal applications that can be downloaded directly From the Windows Store. Windows 10 Cloud can also be seen as the successor to Windows RT.
Windows 10 Cloud, however, can be upgraded to full functionality of Windows 10 by paying a license. In fact, this new operating system is designed to be inexpensive and embedded on low-end devices to compete more effectively with Chromebooks that are increasingly receiving consensus among users.
During the event, the Surface Book 2 will not be presented yet. As for the Surface Pro 5 it is possible but it certainly does not make its appearance just during the spring of Microsoft. It will be an evolution of the current model and not a revolution.
It is also possible for Redmond's home to present a Surface line product that can run with Windows 10 Cloud. It could be the much-talked Surface 4, successor to Surface 3 whose production ended last year.
