Microsoft joins Fortinet's Fabric-Ready Partner Program and integrates advanced security features in Microsoft Azure workloads.
Fortinet, a company active in high performance cybersecurity solutions, has announced an extension of its technology collaboration with Microsoft through its Fabric-Ready Partner Program and new additions to cloud security services.
"Fortinet and Microsoft share the common commitment to helping customers transfer their cloud data safely so that their business strategies can benefit from the flexibility, flexibility, and performance offered by cloud services. Thanks to the extension of the technology alliance between Fortinet and Microsoft, enterprise customers will benefit, explained the company, an integrated cybersecurity that can share real-time information and provide automated protection on on-premise and cloud workloads. In particular:
- Microsoft becomes the Fabric-Ready Partner of Fortinet: As such, Microsoft Azure customers will benefit from extensive and automated features of Fortinet Security Fabric, with a pre-integrated end-to-end cloud security offer.
- The FortiWeb web application firewall available in the Azure Security Center: FortiGate firewall companies were already available on ASC. Now FortiWeb has been tested on Azure workloads for greater security automation with analytics-based identification and multi-layer protection against threats.
- Security Fabric extends to the Enterprise Security Group reference architecture: FortiGate enterprise firewalls have been defined as a recommended security solution within the extended ECG enterprise deployment model.
Fortinet Security Fabric's virtual solutions - including FortiGate enterprise firewalls, FortiAnalyzer for centralized network logging, analysis and reporting, FortiMail as a secure e-mail gateway and FortiWeb web application firewalls - are already available in the Markeplace of Azure.
